Item:273589767759Up for sale is a stunning 1969 Royal Lark manual typewriter with case, made in Holland. I had a professional typewriter repairman fully clean and oil the typewriter and put in a brand-new ribbon. Please take a look at the type sample. A delightful typer that's not easy to find in North America. Types crisply and cleanly and is ready for you to type your novel, catch up on your letter writing or write those Christmas cards. Lovely black finish. The Royal Lark was based on the Halberg typewriter body (Halbergs were made in Sweden, and are quite rare). This typewriter was the last beauty of its generation before the body models switched into boxy models made with cheaper materials. This typewriter was made with fine craftsmanship and at almost half a century old types as well or better today than it did in 1969. The type is crisper than appears in the photo (it was hard to capture the type sample well on a gray day). The case is clean and zips up easily (see pictures). The typewriter was kept in its case in a dry room (that is, not a basement) and has no "basement" smell to it. Shipped securely in multiple layers of bubble wrap and a strong box. Will ship asap after completion of sale (usually within a day). The perfect gift for the writer in your family, or for yourself, just in time for the holidays! Free shipping in Canada Discounted shipping to the US: CAN$50 I am not currently offering shipping outside of Canada and the U.S., but I will get a quote for serious buyers to another country.
